Environmental & Sustainability Commitments
At Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd, sustainability isn’t an afterthought, it’s an integral part of how we build. From sourcing and waste management to carbon reduction and modern construction methods, we’re committed to delivering projects that are efficient, responsible, and future-ready.

Our Sustainability Approach
As part of the Thomas Armstrong Group, we align our operations with the Group’s long-term environmental strategy and continue to invest in sustainable solutions across all aspects of our construction work.
We continuously look for ways to reduce our environmental impact both on-site and across the supply chain. This includes optimising energy use, minimising waste, and selecting sustainable materials wherever possible. Our teams work closely with clients, designers and consultants to ensure environmental considerations are embedded from the outset of each project.

Areas We Focus On
Sustainable Procurement
We carefully select materials from trusted suppliers, prioritising FSC®/PEFC™ certified timber and other responsibly sourced components.
Waste Reduction
On-site waste is segregated and recycled wherever possible. We work with licensed waste partners to minimise landfill and report on disposal performance.
Carbon & Energy Efficiency
We monitor fuel, fleet and energy use, investing in low-energy equipment and construction methods to reduce our carbon footprint.
Modern Construction Methods
We support sustainable build techniques including off-site manufacturing, efficient structural systems, and smart site planning to reduce environmental disruption.
