Windows
Classic Stormproof Timber Window Frame
We can provide high performance 'A Rated' stormproof windows to any design combination, manufactured to Secure by Design standards, single or double glazed, in various timber prefinished if required.
Sliding Sash Window Frame with Traditional Weights and Spiral Balancers
We offer a traditional sliding sash window frame available in hardwood or softwood with a painted or stained finish. The fully glazed, finished window is supplied complete with hardware including sash cords, lead weights, pulley wheels, security fasteners and modern spiral balancers.
Our sash window frame design includes unique gaskets and seals. Traditional style beading is fitted externally and our design incorporates shaped sash horns for the traditional period look.
Material
All windows are manufactured using sustainable timbers from managed forests, both in softwood and hardwood.
Treatment/Finishes
Main sections and components are pre impregnated with double vacuum treatment and prime or base stained. A range of finishing options are available.
Ironmongery
Is fitted to a Secure by Design standard and can be tailored to fit individual specifications.
Glazing
As well as the standard double glazed units that are most commonly available in today’s market, we also offer various options of single glazing which are highly desirable in conservation areas. All specifications are in strict compliance with current building regulations
Doors
We can manufacturer doors to any size, any type, made expressly to your specifications.
Whatever the style - Victorian, Georgian, with Bolection moulds, flat panels or raised and field we can produce a door to suit your needs in various timbers and finishes.
Pre-hung with multi point locks to secure by design standards or just loose for your own fitting.

Armstrong Joinery can provide a complete service from design to manufacture in numerous timbers, both hardwood and softwood, through to installation, and incorporating turned balustrading or square stop chamfered for the minimalist look. This also includes glass balustrades.
Specialist
Although we produce a high turnover of standard softwood staircases for our Construction Department, we specialise in custom designed hardwood staircases for the private individual.
