Refurbishment and fit-out of a Victorian hotel in Grasmere, transformed into a luxury boutique destination with a focus on heritage features and bespoke detailing.
Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd undertook the refurbishment of the Forest Side Hotel in Grasmere, a former Victorian country house, to transform it into a luxurious boutique hotel.
The works included sensitive restoration of the building’s period character alongside high-end interior finishes, structural alterations, and installation of modern services throughout. The hotel now offers a unique blend of heritage architecture and contemporary luxury, serving visitors to the Lake District with 20 individually styled bedrooms, fine dining, and landscaped grounds.
