What We Delivered at A6 Hucks Brow, Shap and Kendal

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to deliver Phase 1 of the Hucks Brow works on the A6 between Shap and Kendal.

The project focused on upgrading sections of the carriageway, improving safety and surface quality along this busy rural route. Works included planning and resurfacing of the existing road, new kerbing, footway repairs, full drainage installation and verge reinstatement. Temporary traffic management was put in place to allow works to proceed safely with minimal disruption to road users.

The project was completed to a high standard and contributes to long-term network resilience in the region.
