260-Space Car Park Construction for BAE Systems, Barrow

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed under a design and build contract to deliver the construction of a new 260-space car park for BAE Systems at their Barrow-in-Furness site.

This small but critical infrastructure project included earthworks, drainage and attenuation, kerbing, surfacing, and the installation of lighting, CCTV, and access control systems. Delivered over a 10-week period, the project required strict compliance with BAE Systems’ Health and Safety procedures and security protocols.

Our established presence in Barrow, along with in-house flexibility and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), ensured successful delivery with cost savings and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
