Lodge Construction and Infrastructure Works at Center Parcs
Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd delivered a large-scale development project at Center Parcs, Penrith, involving the construction of 34 new timber frame lodges and a new 10-bay arrivals lodge. The scheme also included the demolition of an existing arrivals building and the creation of 120 additional car parking spaces.
The new accommodation included 14 two-bedroom executive lodges, 7 three-bedroom executive lodges, 12 three-bedroom lodges with hot tubs, and one six-bedroom single-storey lodge. Throughout the 60-week programme, careful coordination was required to avoid disruption to the 5,000–6,000 guests on-site at any given time.
