Watersports Clubhouse and Facilities for the National Trust

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to demolish outdated facilities and construct a new Water Sports Clubhouse and two adjacent changing blocks at Fell Foot Park, Newby Bridge. The project included external boat parking and associated landscaping.

The buildings were constructed on a partially buried concrete structure to raise them above the flood level, ensuring resilience and longevity. A combination of sustainable systems, including a ground source heating system and sewage treatment plant, were integrated into the build to support efficient operation.
