Affordable Housing Development in Central Penrith

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed by Impact Housing to deliver the redevelopment of a long-disused site at Vine Terrace, Penrith. The scheme comprised the design and construction of nine high-quality affordable rental homes.

This regeneration project included six two-bedroom houses and three one-bedroom flats, constructed in traditional materials to respect the character of the surrounding conservation area. The homes were built to high energy-efficiency standards and included modern heating systems, off-street parking and secure cycle storage. Located within walking distance of the town centre, the development provides much-needed affordable accommodation for the local community.
