What We Delivered at Furness College

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed as main contractor for the design and construction of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre at Furness College in Barrow-in-Furness.

The two-storey facility was built to expand the college’s higher-level technical education provision, with specialist classrooms and workshops designed for students pursuing careers in advanced manufacturing and engineering.

The project was delivered on a live college campus, requiring careful phasing and communication to ensure student safety and minimal disruption to ongoing teaching activities.
