What We Delivered for Caterpillar in Peterlee

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to deliver two separate schemes at Caterpillar’s production facility in Peterlee, County Durham — a new welfare block and an extension to the existing warehouse.

The welfare facility included new changing rooms, toilets, and staff areas, while the warehouse extension provided additional capacity to support Caterpillar’s operations. Works included demolition, concrete flooring, drainage, steel frame construction, internal fit-out and external yard works. All works were carried out in a live, operational manufacturing environment, requiring careful coordination to avoid disruption.
