What We Delivered at Dunmail, Keswick and Grasmere
Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to deliver three affordable housing schemes across Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside in partnership with Castles & Coasts Housing Association.
Each site involved the construction of new homes using traditional materials in keeping with the Lake District’s architectural character. The developments provide much-needed homes for local residents, with a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom properties designed to support long-term community sustainability.
The works were completed with careful attention to planning requirements and environmental sensitivity due to their National Park locations.
Works Included:
- Construction of affordable homes across three sites
- Use of stonework, slate roofs and timber detailing
- Full internal fit-out and external works
- Creation of access roads, parking, and soft landscaping
- Delivery in accordance with planning and environmental requirements
