What We Delivered at HIP Car Park, Barrow-in-Furness

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd was appointed to design and construct a new 146-space car park on the site of the former Rydal House in Barrow-in-Furness.

Delivered as part of the wider Barrow HIP (Housing Infrastructure Fund) programme, the scheme included the formation of new car parking bays, surfacing, drainage, lighting and footpaths, along with soft landscaping and boundary treatments. The works aimed to improve local infrastructure and support future housing development in the area.

The project required close coordination with local stakeholders and was delivered to a high standard under tight programme constraints.
